Five Serpent’s Teeth is very different from their older albums yet, at the same time, it still holds onto the essence and heavy-impacting riffs that is EVILE.

They explore their abilities a lot more in this album and it’s definitely evidence of the band maturing and growing.
The vocals in this album bring to mind a young James Hetfield (Metallica) or Slash’s Snakepit (Particularily pieces of “The Alien”). This especially comes through in their title song “Five Serpent’s Teeth” and “Eternal Empire”.
A big difference between this album and the others is that although it’s still heavy and thrashy, there are a lot of slower parts within the songs. This effect does not deter the songs’ heaviness at all. In fact, if anything, it adds to it as the riffs are still “dirty” and thunderous and they leave more room for their most creative solos yet.

While still holding onto true Thrash Metal riffs that will boil blood and scorch the faces of their headbanging masses; they also show that they’re not afraid to broaden their horizons with good old Metal. It’s during these more adventurous parts that one can clearly hear influences of Metallica and Exodus more so than usual.
This is definitely their best work to date as it contains everything people crave from them as well as a lot more which will take their horned fans by surprise and cause major hemorrhaging in the moshpits.

The album is a well-balanced combination of the heaviness of Infected Nations [2009], the technicality of Enter The Grave [2007] and some old-school metal styles which are always great to hear and headbang to.

EVILE fans… Raise your horns and get ready for the heaviest, most creative and most powerful album they have released to date!
